Speed Picking Workshop Features
The Speed Picking Workshop has everything you need and nothing you don't all in one place online for productive practice sessions. The Speed Picking Workshop will also remember you last Target Speed so you don't need to reset anything...all you need to do is play.
- 1: Progress Bar.
This lets you know how far through the exercise you are.
- 2: Error Margin.
This tells you how many errors you can make when playing through the fastest's part of the exercise.
- 3: Progress Note Pad.
Here you can record your progress. Each time you increase your Target Speed add an entry into the Progress Note Pad with the current Date and new Target BPM. By recording your progress you can track see the results in black and white.
- 4: Exercise Player Controls:
Play, Stop, Pause, Rewind and Fast Foward as needed through the exercise.
- 5: Guitar Tuner:
Standard Tuning.
- 6: Exercise Duration.
This lets you know how long the exercise runs and counts down in minutes/seconds to the end of the exercise. While the exercise is loading it will count up to the duration. You do not have to wait for the exercise to completely load to start playing.
- 7: Volume Control.
- 8: Target BPM.
This displays the fastest speed for the exercise.
- 9: BPM Speed Graph.
This graph represents visually the plan for the exercise session. Like any sound training exercise program it starts with a warm up period, ascending to a peak period followed by a cool down period. When practicing in Foundation Mode the Peak section will be RED. When practicing in Advanced Mode the peak section will be YELLOW.
- 10: Target BPM Selector
Click to select a Target BPM that matches your skill level. Start any new exercise at 65BPM and accend incrementally.
